Flight inspection more than meets the eye
Radiola’s flight inspection systems have been specifically designed to be portable and deployable. These systems represent the latest technology and provide customers with reduced operating expenses by allowing the complete flight inspection mission to be more efficient.
The capability to down-link real time data is ideal when difficult commissioning tasks are required.
The systems are fully automatic allowing simple analysis of results. A portable computer serves as the data recording system providing fast data acquisition and analysis.

High resolution colour graphics are displayed, and all data is saved to a hard disk with an external backup. WinFIS™ software is the first dedicated flight inspection software designed specifically for the Windows™ operating system. This software provides an easy user interface with online help.
Unparalleled accuracy is achieved by the use of digital signal processing, computer calibration routines and the most advanced Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) technology.
Our flight inspection systems meet all requirements of ICAO Annex 10, ICAO Doc 8071 and FAA Order 8200.1 for Category I/II/III ILS, VOR, NDB, DME, TACAN, GPS, MKR, PAR, SRE, VASI, and PAPI.
Radiola has been providing flight inspection services in Morocco since 2000. These services typically involve up to 400 hours flight time annually. On one of these deployments we put together an all-female flight inspection crew to get the job done.
Headed up by Carole Thompson from our New Zealand office, we believe this was the first time, anywhere in the world, that an all-female crew undertook a flight inspection mission.
The crew was made up of Captain Evelyn Sissingh and First Officer Louise Courtney– and Carole Thompson as Inspection Group Manager for Radiola.
The job was a mixed deployment of flight validation and flight inspection activities for the Office National Des Aéroports (ONDA) in Morocco.
The deployment achieved initial validation of GNSS procedures at Tetouan airport as well as the routine flight inspection of the CAT III ILS at Casablanca Mohammed V airport.
